We take pride in our green living.
We are constantly striving to make our operations greener, in line with the New European Bauhaus guidelines for sustainable office culture.
After moving to new bioclimatic premises, we managed to reduce our energy consumption by 20%, doing away with the need for AC units, helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our naturally ventilated indoor spaces rely on the flow of air from the outside to remove stale air, through the use of windows, doors, and other openings. This is especially important in times of high air pollution or during the spread of respiratory diseases such as COVID-19. Indoor plants also help to filter the air by removing pollutants and releasing oxygen.
We have ensured that all our electricity comes for RES (eco-certified).
We have already planted more than 100 plants, focusing on local flora, in the company’s indoor spaces and garden, which also hosts our composting unit for food waste.
We provide recycling bins for paper and plastic products.
We have a dedicated bicycle parking area.
We consider the environmental impact when buying furniture, opting where possible to reuse vintage pieces that are representative of the city’s history.
We have established a Reuse and Upcycling Corner, where employees can donate items that are no longer needed, such as gently used furniture, household goods and other items. This helps to reduce the amount of waste that we generate, as well as providing an opportunity for employees to acquire useful items at no cost. The Reuse and Upcycling Corner also promotes a culture of sustainability within our company. At the end of each year, all remaining items are donated to a local charity.
Next year, we are planning to install PV panels on all outside walls.
